Application

Forged discs are applied in different types of butterfly valves, which cover a wide range of applications in Food, Beverage, Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries.

Material

Discs are executed in two kinds of stainless steel - 1.4301/1.4307 (AISI 304/ 304L) or 1.4404 (AISI 316L).
For a specific customer’s needs they may be produced of other types of stainless steel.

Technical data

Our forged discs are offered in different diameters from DN 25 (1”) to DN 200 (8”).
Surface roughness (Ra < 0,2 μm)
Precision in execution ensure high mechanical resistance of a complete butterfly valve.

Quality

A specific fibers position of our forged discs ensure a higher resistance than in a cast one. Forged discs do not have any blowholes and contraction cavities which characterize cast discs. Disc surface as well as radius are polished into a mirror shine. High precision in all the dimensions and regular shapes, without any sharp edges ensure us correct disc setting in sealing, making it truly leak – proof combination.

We supply quality certificates 3.1B.

For a special wish of our clients the disks may be marked, which is helpful in product identification.

Production

All the discs are produced on the base of individual client wishes, documentation and tools, prepared for each one separately.
